Born Alex Topper, raised in Boston Massachusetts, Alex gained an interest in a wide variety of music from a young age and produced his first song at age 12. In 2022, he emerged under the name Michael Jupiter and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. Jupiter’s signature sound derives from a blend of dance-pop, alt-rock, trap, and R&B styles that combines elements from across the world of music including pop, rock, funk, soul, metal, classical, jazz, blues, musical theater/cinematics, gospel, and world music. His themes range widely from romanticism and heartbreak to more contemporary topics like empowerment, and self-improvement. He collaborates with local acts while further refining his vocal, writing, and production skills.
